Installation was straight forward, simply connect this to your laptop and boot, then when prompted install the drivers from the CD and within a few minutes you are ready to connect to a wireless network. The card does automatically search for a avalaible network if one is avalaible it will connect and prmpt you to enter a name for the connection. If it doesnt connect to your wireless network you will need to enter the WEP and ensure it is authenticated so that it will connect.
Using this card to seek the above access point was simple enough, once the WEP had been authenticated we were up and running. Once you've installed one wireless card you will relise just how simple they are to setup and use.
I then decided to connect to another machine and use the wireless router so that I could test this card further. A few minutes later and I had enabled the card access through the router and I was online. I used the card for serveral days and didnt have a single problem with it, the signal strengh remained good and the speed viewing web pages was 'normal' no unusual delays it performed well and i still managed to get fast download speed of 50-80KB/sec.
Conclusion:
Nice looking card, simple and quick to setup and install.
It performed well and I did notice the difference between 54Mbps & 11Mbps. It connected easily to different vendors routers and access points.
