Cases are becoming more and more colourful and diverse in recent years if you are a keen pc builder or enthusiast, then I would bet heavily against you owning a beige or plain case.
More and more people are moving into using a more modern case usually to provide a more attractive looking case and other features such as extra cooling, and more space.
More and more people are also looking to buy a pre-modded case rather than having to Dremel a case themselves. Well the Antec Plus View AMG 1000 May fit the bill for a large proportion of people, it is a SOHO server case which means that it is a larger unit and allows for greater capacity.

The case can hold 10 drive bays made up of 4x 5.25", 4x 3.5", and a further 4x 3.5" bays accessible internally.10This case would not only appeal to the more heavy user who would benefit from having several hard drives etc all in the one place. Also for people who may want to have a server or just to benefit from having more room for the overclocker / upgrader. Who is constantly in and out of their system.
What you get in the box:
- 1x Case Unit
- 1x Box of screws (board mountings)
- 2x keys
- Drive rails secured to case interior

The Case:

Rear:

Exterior
The front of the case is made up a large vent space and above access to the drive bays via the lockable cover. Underneath the front of the case is access to the removable fan filter.
Interior
On the bottom of the case are the drive rails, which are used to secure the 5.25" drives securely into the case, they slide in / out easily.
At the top of the case this is where the PSU sits, the added space of the case allows for the PSU to sit above the board rather than being a tight fit and blowing hot air directly onto other components.
Along by the I/O plate is two case fans, which are used to expel hot air from the case. Below these lie the blanking plates. And to the center lies the main space of the interior for fixing your motherboard to the case. To the right of this is the two removable 3.5" hard drive cages and above these the fixed 5.25" bays.
Cooling
This case has plenty of cooling to allow for the full capacity of the case to be utilised, there are also additional case fan mountings located on the side window and in front of the removable hard drive cages, and at the bottom of the case under the cages.
These additional cooling options allow you to fully cool your system and allow for plenty of individual touches, by shipping with two plain fans if you want to go down the neon route you could easily move these 'boring' fans to become inlet fans drawing air inside your case over your hard drives. Whilst you can install neon / led fans to the other locations which are noticeable via the window mod.
Side Window
The main feature of the case is a preinstalled Perspex large window. Now you can have a window without having to go through several dremel and sanding discs and worrying about doing a professional looking job with a possibly expensive case.
The window is quite a large rectangle window which includes a case fan holder built on to the window, this can be seen as a bonus as other cases sometime just have a window the extra case holder allows for a colour fan to be installed easily for a great effect.
PSU

We will be looking at the TrueBlue 480W PSU from Antec.
As already stated in the review this case doesn't come with a PSU, as it is a larger case it is allowing you to consider how much power you need so that you can look at your PSU options further.

I have used an Antec PSU before that time is was a standard TruePower PSU, and I have to admit they really are worth the money. Not only are they quiet and stable but looking at the Antec site prior to purchasing the way they do things with their PSUs with the design of the circuitry and the other reviews from around the world convinced me to part with my cash. My TruePower is still going strong and has powered many different PC's without a faltering once.
This TrueBlue builds on the product further and also includes two fans which are blue in colour this will also help make the case look great and save time if you were considering modding the PSU yourself to change the fans.
Of course the main noticable addition and a real reason to buy this PSU is the built in Fans they look great and allow for a blue glow to be displayed even into the center of the case.
Overall
This case is awesome - I have been a great fan of Antec since I splashed out on my first Antec about 2 years ago, the build quality and refinements like rounded edges and a more thoughtful layout of fixings. This case is a large 10 drive capacity unit, which brings together the capacity and functionality with the extra cooling and expansion possibilities also sporting a large window mod to appeal to the masses.
Great case, plenty of features and a large
pre-installed window.
